I think if Rudy and Hillary had a debate about REAL issues, their heads would explode from all the double talk.
It's the republicans that run on nonsense issues like Gay Marrige (which does'nt affect your or my life whatsoever).

Rudy is differant then the Bush/Chaney republicans. If you saw how much better and safer he made NYC, then u would believe in Rudy, He pulled NYC out of the toilet and he legitametly deserves most of the credit. he is a very charismatic guy as well.

The other thing about Rudy is, he really believes in what he says, he is not full of crap ( ok all politicians are full of crap, but Rudy is genuinly an honest guy), whether or not I agree with him, he tries to do the right thing

I did hear about what he did in NY with the organized crime, but I also heard about how he screwed it all up for the firefighters and for the victims of 9/11's families by being greedy and by trying to get it all cleaned up before his term was up so he could go out like a hero. But the way he did it was quite disturbing and borderline evil.

i don't know about that. I have friends who were fireman that collect 5k-10k a month for life because they messed up thier lungs on 9/11 wink wink, and they never have to work again. Thats like hitting lotto, and I'm not talking about 1 guy either. All the FDNY's that I know love Rudy.

They are still sorting out all the 9/11 money and whatnot, it was not a closed issue when rudi left. they are still sorting everything out to this day.

he did more than take down the mob. NYC was in the midst of a crack epidemic in the 80's and early 90's, Mayor Dinkins was very soft on crime, he squandered away the budget and let the schools turn to crap. Rudy came in and the City did a 180* within 3 years. He did alot of questionable things taht did hurt some peoples liveliehoods(not fireman), but it was for the overall good.

he is one of the few politicians that actually made good on the majority of his promises while in office. i only know this becuase I witnessed it first hand, i remember hating him at first and then he started to grow on me. I am very sceptical twords politicians but am sold on Rudy(and I am a registered Democrat)

Firefighters Union Letter On Rudy Giuliani Read this

(this source also forgets to mention how he shipped off all the steel frames from the towers immediately after the tragedy to China before anyone could run any tests on it to check for traces of thermate or thermite which is used in controlled demolitions.

I stand corrected.

But you still have to hear the other side of the story. Union reps are just as slippery and greedy as politicians, those are the ones who wrote that letter.

Guiliani is'nt perfevt, but I think he is the best candidate. I can't vote for Hillary or Obama.

I was thinking the same thing. I haven't heard the other side of the story until you. Good thing we still got a while before we need to vote. I agree Rudy is the best candidate, but I still don't think that makes him a 'good' candidate, if you know what I mean. That's just me though, I'm not saying you shouldn't vote for him.
