SOS and Andygator by Abita brewing co. Both local to Louisiana and pack a good punch. Andygator tends to get terrible reviews because they are done by people who sip beer and swish it around in their mouths after sniffing it. This beer is meant to be guzzled straight into your guts where it can do its job proper.

I have a few "go to" beers that I like. Rolling Rock, Coors Light, Miller Lite aren't bad. Not much flavor but hey, they aren't awful. I really like Stella Artois, Yuengling Lager, Yuengling Premium, and Sierra Nevada IPA.

I think that the foulest tasting beer on the planet would have to be Milwaukee's Best. And any beer with coffee or chocolate added makes the list too.

I will usually drink any beer once, but there are some I won't ever drink again. I'm excited for Yuengling Oktoberfest

This thread completely slipped me!

I have a load of favourite brews, when I'm home I love a Double Maxim or two, but no more than two as it's quite heavy.

For Lager I usually go for Kronenbourg if it's available on tap but Stella, Amstel, Becks, or Tuborg are all considered successes.

Ales and Beers: I'm not at all against a John Smiths but prefer Worthingtons or Boddingtons, if i'm going black I prefer a Murphys to Guinness.

Trendy: Früli (strawberry beer) is well worth a bash if you can find it on tap, Blue Moon and anything from the Wychwood brewery is usually good quality and if i see something new I'm always down to try it.

That strawberry beer is ok for the first couple of sips... after that becomes a bit rancid.

Double Maxim is great... but next time you buy some booze try expanding your horizons... try a Bombardier, Old Empire, Champion or even a Hob Goblin.

Hobgoblin is part of the Wychwood Brewery range mate, plus tried all of those, everything that Supermarkets have I've tried already.

Morrisons used to do a 4 for the price of 3 range on all Ales so I used to try a different four every week.
