Porn has expanded, man. I posted a site a couple of pages back.
Now we have horny people exposing themselves/having sex on webcam for live audiences that pay good money to request things. If you can make a living doing that then you're a porn star by career and I don't see any of the negative stigma attached.

also they use condoms in Bangbus and most porn that is made to look like the girls are amateur.
Exactly, that point is moot. If you give your daughter a loving, stable parental relationship then she won't become a porn star. Providing a stable, loving parental relationship gets tricky though when divorce etc. comes into play so much in modern times, many of which are themselves related to porn addiction.

Anyway the OP doesn't state "being from a loving home" as express conditions. He's just asking, without commenting on the actual quality of your parenting, whether that would make you happy. And you are imposing conditions on it that would make it unlikely and IMO near impossible to happen.

Amateur porn etc. is a gateway, the money is much lower compared to "the industry" and the funnel just leads deeper. Condoms don't prevent all dangerous STDs like Herpes or HPV, and their use is less than token in amateur or industrial porn. People exposing themselves on webcams, filming with boyfriends etc. also spins out of control, with many incidents of stalking or humiliation on recognition, proliferation of their images beyond their control and coming back to haunt their personal lives etc.

Besides this is kind of a tangent but it's not just the performers it affects. I can tell you first hand the difference it makes in the viewer, as I've been on both sides of the table.

When I was addicted to it, like copius amounts of it (and yes many of us don't like to think we are "addicted", but just try going for a week without so much as glancing at it, let alone a month or a year), I couldn't attract a girl for squat, and even the ones I did didn't stick around for long. It was very frustrating because I'd always been told I was a good looking guy.

When I realized the effect it was having on me though ... the constant vibe of desperation, I'll take whatever I can get, if not you your friend etc... I tried giving it up. Women can smell desperation, you may think you can play it cool or act nonchalant or even a dick, but if you're desperate for sex underneath it'll show, and that is exactly what porn makes you.

So anyway, failed badly at first giving it up, but over time the less it got and eventually stopped, the better I was with women. To the point where I practically had to push away pretty girls with a stick to pick the one I really wanted.

You can take it as anecdotal or a tangent or a flat out lie etc., just thought I'd leave it here.

The winner for most interesting thread yesterday goes to me.

I didn't make the question up, like I mentioned it was something I heard on sports radio the day before. They were talking about a poll given to NBA players in the locker room and 77% of them picked daughter in porn over gay son.
Both the host of the show and myself beleive that if you ask the public you will get a very different result. But as I started to ask people in person I was a bit surprised by some of the answers.
I don't think the question is meant to focus on how you were as a parent. Let's just say you are at your company Christmas party or end of the year gathering or whatever. You are introducing your family to everyone. What do you think you would be more comfortable with? Introducing your gay son and his partner or introducing your porn star daughter?

I think the question tells more about NBA players than anything else. all a lot of those guys know about fatherhood is paternity tests and child support checks.

Gay son. The chance of accidentally finding my daughter's porn on the internet are too high to even consider that answer.

I wouldn't mind either way though, as long as they're happy.

Did you hear this from Lebatard? It was just one team on a flight; he brings it up every now and then.

I'd rather they be gay than porn stars no matter their gender. The porn industry is really ****ed up you wouldn't want your kids getting involved in that.

Yeah he had John Amaechi on as a guest, for those that don't know Amaechi is a former NBA player that came out as gay after he retired. They were talking about Jason Collins and how teams didn't want the distraction since you can find a similar quality player without the same level of attention.

He acted like it was fairly new information and he was surprised by the number.
I though it was just 1 team, but I think it's safe if they polled the entire NBA the number would be similar.

For me, it's not even close.

I have a son and a daughter.

I don't give a rat's ass what side of the plate my kids end up swinging from. I'm doing my best to raise them to be decent people.

However folks might want to spin it, doing pron is getting paid to have sex; and while I'm not a big fan of labeling people, there's a word for that.

If I had my druthers, I would choose a different life for my kids.

that happened to a friend of mine while she was in college. she was making money on the side for a locally based website called Nakkid Nerds (defunct now) and her dad pulled her out of school and brought her back home when he "accidentally" found the site. apparently it's still something they don't talk about.

I think he was told it by an NBA player last season or the year before; I can't remember exactly. He probably presented it that way since their show just went national recently. I consider it the best radio show in the country and have listened to it for over 5 years now.

Amaechi was cohosting the other day. He has only done it 3 times I think. They have rotated people in to be the third person since Hochman left the show; usually it is Cote, Bomani, or Stan Van Gundy.
