Actor Paul Walker killed in car crash

Probably most well-remembered for the Fast and Furious film series, although some here might also remember The Death and Life of Bobby Z, featured a lot of MMA fighter/actors and decently realistic BJJ. My favorite film of his was The Lazarus Project, which never got proper marketing but was a great film.

He was leaving a charity event with a friend when the accident happened, and was not the driver.

RIP.

Yeah, that's too bad. Although it's one of the more "amusing" celebrity deaths given that his biggest films are about driving cars and he died in a car accident. So many jokes going around pointing out the irony.

The guy was a brown belt in bjj, so he was a legit bad ass.

Also to your point MC, its been reported now and removed but on facebook someone put up a meme from fast and the furious where paul is smiling and says "dude I almost had you" amd vin diesel replies "you never had me you never had your car" and the last picture is of the crash. Which I found far more amusing than I should have.

Completely sad he went out like that. Really goes to show that driving these fancy looking sports cars isn't what its cracked up to be. The car hits a lamp post and it immediately bursts into flames. What exactly are the benefits of owning something like that again?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I just wanted to point out that two of my favorite characters passed on in car accidents.

Rest in paradise Paul Walker.

Rest in doggy paradise Brian Griffin.

Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Lol that's funny. I mean it's sad he died and all but come on, it's so ironic it's hard not to laugh at some of these things being posted.

Probably the same benefits of entering an MMA bout, or surfing in Waimea Bay in winter time, or riding a sport bike, or climbing a mountain or performing aerobatics in a small plane.

Cars are not ment to crash. Sometimes a few wrong things get aligned and serious shit happens, but in all other occasions, the benefit is to have fun and enjoy life your way.

RIP Paul Walker

Man this is really sad to me. I actually love Fast and the Furious the Original. I know not allot people will admit it, but I think it's a classic. I also really enjoyed him in Running Scared.

I felt myself saddened way more than i'd expect of ever have been for a celebrity. Probably one of my fave actors out there ever since the 1st fast and furious, was a great father, had positive energy and a role model. May he rest in piece.
