yea, kids are super resiliant, i took a lot of smacks and beatings as a kid(most my own doing, ie riding my bike full speed into the side of a moving truck) and was not for the worse...kids bounce back easily

They have hard heads to, I use to fall off my bike all the time but I had a helmet on so it did not matter. But I always use to fall and cut my knees etc. I wouldn't even notice and get back on the bike and ride away.
