2008!

Only a year and a half until Dubya is out of Office. Who do you think you will vote for in the primaries and elections? I won't be 18 in the primaries, but I will be by the time of the actual election. Definitely whoever the Democratic candidate is, I'm voting for that person. I'm still hoping Gore decides to run, but I like Obama.

I see it being Clinton vs. McCain but I hope Obama manages to get the nod over Hilary. If Obama gets the Democratic nomination, I'll vote for him. If not, I'll just go 3rd party again as I did in 2004.

My Favorites:

Kendall Grove
Andrei Arlovski
Nick Diaz
Jens Pulver
Spencer Fisher
Sean Sherk
Corey Hill

I'm absolutely finished with the democrats and republicans... except for Ron Paul. I don't agree with everything he believes in but he is the only one who thinks and speaks for himself.

Ron Paul is a good candidate if all you care about is foreign affairs. He believes in Reagan's economic policies, which Bush Sr (Reagan's VP) referred to as "voodoo economics". Basically the idea is, cut taxes for the rich so they will spend more. If they spend more then the economy will be more active. Less taxes = more revenue. Unfortunately, the reality is economics doesn't work like that. Less taxes means the government gets less money and can't do anything. If we weren't in such a huge deficit right now, tax cuts would be okay, but we don't have the economy we used to.

I've never understood the point of 3rd party voters. You know that there is .00000001% chance of them getting elected, and that is a generous number. Why not just vote for the lesser of two evils? It may be against your principles, but you need to make exceptions if you want America to be run by a half-intelligent human being, instead of the half-retarded ape we currently have in Office.

I'm a democrat at heart, but I don't really like Obama (don't feel he has the experience) or Hilary (scares me). I'll probably end up voting for John McCain or not voting at all.

nobody who will receive the nomination will either deserve it, or do anything with a win to change this country for the better. untill we prize actual intellegence and compassion over fundraising and soundbites, we'll contintue to destroy ourselves with a sham-democratic process that has nothing to do with the potential and original intent of this country.

Not only does the electoral college render each and ever vote wothless--on at least 2 occasions, the electoral college has voted against the popular vote. this means the person who won the votes of America was not granted the presidency. hense, we do not live in any sort of actual democracy.

and, until we change the very way we value ourselves and the rest of the world, nothing will change. it will always be about oil, war, greed, mistrust, supersticion, ideology and fear...

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

there is nothing in this country's documents that says we are a two party system. the two most powerful partys simply figured out a way to make anyone else besides the two standard options unviable. making it about money. our presidential race is always about who has the most money and who made the least soundbite errors. it's a rich person popularity contest based on psudo science, lies, and a complete lack of integrity and will!
