Im gonna speak up on the negative here.

I did Southwestern book sales, also a huge pyramid of door to door sales.

The lifestyle sucks cock. You wake up early, work all ******* day, get home go to bed, start over the next day. You like getting ****ed up? Forget it. Getting laid? nope. You have to basically brainwash yourself into believing that youre not ripping people the **** off (you are, I promise) and that youre happy to be doing this shit every day. Not my scene at all.

Wow all you guys have done these door 2 door sales? I'm really surprised. I've never even heard of Kirby Vacuums, let alone heard of people going door to door selling them. I didn't know people sold vacuums door to door. I thought it was just knives lol.

But yea, aren't pyramid scams illegal?

I did some pyramid scams online, it was like door to door sales, except on your computer. It was a lot of work, and I never even saw a dime of what I made. I made like $800 after my first 2 months of doing it all on my own...this was like 2 years ago, I have yet to receive my check from clickbank.

You should just stick to pizza delivery. Less stressful, less actual work, less chance of being broke....just my opinion. Besides, pizza delivery is like door-to-door vacuum sales, only difference is you KNOW the person will purchase the pizza.

It is great money delivering but I am tired of these pizza joints around here and going through so many cars. Its not so bad in the summer but when the winter hits it just gets to me all season. Getting stuck in the snow then having to repair my car in the cold ass weather. I have to repair my car atleast a couple times each season for different reasons and aggrivating. I had the it perfect when I worked at the hut, awsome employees and a great boss. But they shut down and every other place is not run right. I just gotta keep the green on the mind, If I wasnt in debt I wouldnt be into this door to door crap. I know theres more people around here that have done it.

You should give waiting tables a shot. It's like pizza delivery just without the pizza delivery bullshit. Of course you get to trade in the pizza delivery bullshit for the table waiting bullshit (bitchy customers, tray balancing, busy work for short periods of time) but if youre just looking for a change of scenery they're somewhat similar jobs. Also great drug connections to be made waiting tables.

I dont know if I am an ideal image for that job. I have neck and arm tatoos. But bartender struck me as an interest for a sec. They make some decent tips and I bet some good friends. Kick me in the ass dress up and wear a tie to walk door to door. I never have worn a tie in my life and I am about to do it for this crap.

dress codes suck but if it's so you can go back to school, i say jump in and see how far you can take it. then when you get more education you could either move on or move up in that company

I had one legal job, and I lost that on the first day after getting in a fight. Not cool.

I'll stick to working on my dads friends houses, my cousins fish farm and other things that come up, no taxes, no stress.

I probably couldn't sell Vacuum cleaners door to door though. I sold stuff before, but I knew the person showing up was interested. Going door to door bothering people at their doors to rip them off would be horrible. Seems immoral.

The door to door vacumes is pyramid scheme were only a very small % of people actually make money. You make real money by recruiting new salesman, that is the key. If you have a good pipeline of gullible people that are willing to go door to door than this could be promising for you.

I have never done this type of sales, but have friends who had, they all got sold a dream, worked there ass's off, made little money and got screwed in the end.

I wouldn't recommend this type of work to anybody.

If you can cover up yr. tattoos you should look into wireless sales, if yr. a good salesman u can make a lot of $, also you're in a good market, not sh*t market backwater like here where some stores can barely stay afloat *cough*sprint*cough*

That's not true, door to door sales is the one type of pyramid scheme where those at the bottom of the pyramid can make good money.

I made $9,000 in the one summer that I did it. I still dont recommend it, like I said earlier the lifestyle sucks, but if you really dont give a shit about enjoying yourself and youre willing to work 70-80+ hour work weeks then you can definitely make money. Just follow the script.
