dinosaur proof?

Google Image Result for http://btheremag.com/images/2007/feb/BTH_0705_025_pictures01-02.jpg

go there, and scroll down to the bottom--it'll take literally a second. look at the three-horned chameleon. tell me that isn't the last remaining vestiges of what once was the Triceretops? how do people question evolution???

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

Comparing that little lizard to a huge dinosaur is kinda hard. They do resemble each other and utilize the 3 spikes on the head. But I would say the difference is to great, If this lizard had the spikes on the edge of the tail then I would agree more.

why? stegosaurous was the one with spikes on its tail, not triceretops. and i'm not saying that's definitive "proof", but come on. you can't see its dinousaur past? it's throughout the entire animal kindom, species resembling, etc., but this is one example where you can see the direct descendant of full fossilized skeletons we have found.

If any of you read The Lost World remember those chameleon dinosaurs that could not only change colors, but blend in with anything? That was so sick, lizards today pale in comparison to the monsters that were once the dinosaur kingdom.

Triceratops had long legs placed right beneath it so that it could run like a horse. If he's the ancestor of that clumsy thing lying on it's belly with legs sticking out to the sides, he must be really ashamed.

lol, it wouldn't be an exact shrunken replica. of course it underwent changes. but the biology might very well still be pretty similar. you guys took my way to literally, or you just don't fully understand evolution. sure, it could all just be a coincidence, but then again, nature isn't as random as people like to think it is.

again, i didn't imply definitive "proof", but it just the same as some anti-evolution person trying to explain away our vestigial prehensile tail, and why our appendix does nothing anymore!

I understand evolution quite well. Although my post wasn't 100% serious, I'm serious about the difference. The dinosaurs had a less primitive hip structure than today's reptiles, more simlar to birds actually.

I don't believe the triceratops was the ancestor of the chameleon, just that they had the same ancestors. The three horns are probably a coincidence.

I like having the conversations about evolution with the odd inteligent person who is into science as well as religion. I find evolution amazing and can see it happening all around us in little ways.

I personally think that evolution is and always will be til the end of time.(If thats possible).

I mean, you can look at religion and evolution equally the same and you at least can make some difference between the 2 that make sense and some that dont but to be compeletly ignorant to inevitable changes is ****ed up.

Forgive my language and terms.

Dinosaurs arent a myth, we know they were here at one point, and we know that some species are still here from that era. Is it such as hard thing to speculate that at least one of those species became the complete fighter that we see today?
