Do you have to drink to get sleep and deal with your problems? If so, then that would make you the weak one.

Yes, drinking has always helped me sleep. But I have not any other way to deal with my problems, so Alcohol > causing other people worry and making their lives harder.
I wasn't saying he was weak, just that I would rather get wasted than bitch about my problems like a *****. I am just pointing out the fact that their are two sides to it, people don't just drink because of peer pressure. Using substances to cope with your life doesn't necessarily make you weak. I could say the same about people who talk to thier parents/grandparents/significant others about their problems to make it easier to cope.

I guess, upto you. I don't think anyone said they talk about their issues with other people, just that he doesn't drink to just get drunk.
I don't drink myself, at all.

No, he was bitching about people using substances to deal with their problems though. So, I defended it, because it can be a good option. It has certainly helped me.

I hate people who don't drink alcohol lol. They are always the buzzkills at house parties.
