I second that. Ended up watching that by accident one night, just flicking channels. Very good, awesome ending. What was even funnier was I knew one of the guys in the movie. The big skinhead guy, a Capouiera teacher in real life.

Twin Town is very good too. Set in Wales, a great "revenge" movie. Also Dog Soldiers, another British movie. I guess it's Horror/Thriller, also has some quality Brit-comedy moments.

Oldboy is F*CKED UP messed with my head big time and I didn't even see all of it.

We tried to watch The Eye on cable once but my younger child would NOT leave the room. looked good tho.

We liked Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels, Croupier, Layer Cake, Shaun of the Dead, Snatch, haven't seen the Host but it looks AWESOME.

I just noticed someone else liked Dog Soldiers. we've watched that 2-3x on scifi. it was great.

Wow I completely forgot about Lock, Stock....that movie is a classic. The movie is more of a comedy than anything, but I SERIOUSLY recommend it if you have not seen it yet.

If you have not seen the original Chinese version of The Departed I recommend you watch that too (Infernal Affairs) just so you can see the original ending which is much better IMHO.

Yeah I didn't mention Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels either. Thought everyone would have seen that. Another one cropped up in my mind, Pan's Labyrinth. I went to see this expecting somekind of children's fantasy story. How wrong I was. It was like a children's fairytale gone wrong, I highly recommend it. Probably my favourite film of 2006. Spanish I think, but with all good films I didn't notice the subtitles after a while.
