Really Stupid Political Commericials (Warning, This thread could touch a nerve)

This is a thread on campaign commercials that seem bizarre if not stupid and possibly misleading! I just recently saw a commerical were The former Mayor of NEW YORK CITY Rudolph Gulliane(I know I spelled it wrong) is endorsing PENNSLYVANIA Senator Rick Santorium, saying how good he is and how good he is for fighting the war on terror! First off, why is the former Mayor of New York City endorsing a PA senator. He isn't even from around here! If Santorium gets elected again were the ones (meaning everybody who lives in PA) who has to live with him! He doesn't considering he lives in New York! Second, let me tell you about Rick Santorium's idea of the War on Terror! A couple years ago, he compared Same Sex Marriage and Same Sex Relationships as the biggest threat to Homeland Security! I'm Sorry, but same sex relationships do not even compare to people blowing up buildings and killing innocent men, women, and children. At least that's my take on it? If you want to comment on what I just said or just saw a campaign commercial that you want to talk about, please feel free to do so!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

hense nothing for the public. its all about which party has control... not the issues, or the people, or the country. if it was, we wouldn't be invaded by thousands of illegal invaders every day!!!

i refuse to vote until there is a candidate who specifically speaks on relevant issues and is intellegent, not a bullshit artits, and actually concerned for us and the country!

i refuse to do that "vote for the lesser of two evils" thing. thats inane and pointless.

also, when they get rid of the power of the electoral college to veto the entire countris votes... i'll vote!

see your just perpetuating the entire system...if u dont like the guy in office vote the the challenger...EVERY TIME, so that way this 98% incumbency turnover ratio stops, granted the first couple times you wont be all that thrilled with the challenger, i know im not thrilled with casey, but give the guy a chance, if he ****s the dog, vote his ass out next election and keep doing it, so that the politicians get the idea that they cant just screw around and get away with it...the politicians are only part of the problem, its the people who dont remove them when they dont like them that are the real problem

I rarely vote for a candidate, I vote to get rid of the other guy
