well, you called me on the book thing, now i gotta go dig them out...

basically anything by Emanuel Kant, David Hume, Nietchze. read up on Buddhist phiosophy because it tends to agree with science, inadvertantly. It's a boring-ass read, but "the history of god" by Karen Armstrong litterally outlines where and how monotheism, and therefore the judeo-christian god came from. read Michel Foucault, he wrote on the history and developement of punishement and stuff like that, so you can see how we evolved to believe in authoritarian figures, like God.

also, just research online... i'll look for some websites...

Immanuel Kant - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
look down at the "kan'ts philosphy" section...

Friedrich Nietzsche - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
same thing, scroll down

Michel Foucault - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
same

Humanism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
this is what i believe!!! basically, the outlook on life based on reason and logic. in otherwords, no need for mysticism and faith!!!

A History of God
This is Karen Armstrong's book, detailing the true history and developement of religion
