I'm in Field and Stream Magazine...

Some of you might remember my snow machine accident last spring; I went off a drop off while out wolverine hunting. Field and Stream magazine ran a short article on it in this months magazine on page 8.
I think they did a pretty good job on it but they said I fell 35 feet when it was really closer to 25. They also left out the fact that my left hand and arm were caught up in the track of the machine and I was freezing my ass off.

I'm doing great now, I do have a surgery the end of this month to fix the torn out shoulder but the legs are doing just fine. Thanks to all of you for the support you gave through this!!

sorry to hear you got hurt i but i have to admit there is some poetic justice in nature kicking your ass while you're out there trying to kill off its inhabitants

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

Well it kicked my ass, this was the hardest thing I've ever been through bar none. I have a whole new respect for people who are in wheelchairs-- I was in one for half the summer and it SUCKED.
I started the treadmill two weeks ago, yesterday was the first day I could get my speed up to a run.

Seems like a lot of risk, pain, and effort just for a mention in an outdoors magazine. There's gotta be an easier way.

You wouldn't believe what I had to do to get a mention in the National Enquirer
