You peer pressure exerting bastards are making me want to smoke. Stop it! I have noticed over the past couple weeks that my husband has been dipping a lot more. I am not in the habit of nagging him EVER but in this case I do say stuff like "jaw cancer is a horrible way to go." It sucks b/c he quit over the summer, was a total assh*le for about 2 weeks and now has picked it back up again. Dumbass.

Yes. But it wouldn't if they were not addicts.
It's like saying heroin is good cos it stops your stomach cramps.

I've never smoked in my life - I'm just thankful that it's never appealed to me

That's because it is a drug. The nicotine is the thing that makes you feel relaxed, although it is doing the opposite, its raising your blood pressure and tensing you up.

What are you basing that on? As far as I can tell, you're only basing it off wishful thinking.

As far as nights out go it sure doesn't.

And Biowaza they are not as bad as they are made out to be, just like steroids, marijuana, any other drug you care to mention. That doesn't mean tehy aren't bad, but still.

I know what you mean, now when all your mates smoke you end up either waiting inside the pub like a nob on your own or going out and standing round a group of people enjoying that beautiful nicotine knowing that you can't.

It's not just the Nicotine, it's also the metal addiction as well. It's comforting to know that it's there for you.

I'm not sitting here trying to tell people to go smoke, I'm just talking about the PROs in my usage.

I can only base it on how it affects me. I have lower then normal heart rate and blood pressure, I don't cough (unless I'm sick), I stay in VERY good health. I have chest X-rays every year with my over all physical and the Dr always tells me that things are great. I do how every get winded much faster then I used to.

Yet more words of wisdom.

I don't like the idea of a smoking ban so long as the government continues to put such a high tax on ***s. IMO if you can't smoke inside then the tax should be halved.
