New GTA: Christ City!

'Convert or die' game divides Christians / Some ask Wal-Mart to drop Left Behind

odd, i remember times when Walmart pulled items it saw as too non-Christian... strange, a coorporation promoting religion, dare i say, violance in the name of religion???

no, never...

i truly want a devout Christian to explain to me how their religion isn't fundamentally about segregation, pity, and violence...

if you're a devout Christian, you believe that anyone who doesn't "accept jesus as their personal savior" will spend enternity being tourtured! right?

and how is this benevolent, peaceful, accepting, loving and inclusive???

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

If you literally interpret the bible it is impossible to be benevolent, peaceful, accepting, loving, or inclusive.....

In Deuteronomy 13 I believe it clearly states that if anyone tries to make you believe in another god you are supposed to stone them to death on the spot, whether they be a direct family member or a complete stranger.

Also if you literally interpret the bible there is no room for being inclusive to homosexuals, adulterers, heretics, etc.

Not to mention that if you fall into the category of any of the above mentioned outcast groups you are open game for execution by fundamentalist christians according to the bible.

Just more evidence as to why the Bible's a bunch of bull shit. You both give very good points.

Exactly, and the main difference I see between the Muslims and the Christians is that some Muslims do take Quran literly and they become terrorists.

I believe it says something like, kill the infidels, or protect yourself from the nonbelievers, or something like that. And many of the terrorists see the Jews and Americans as the infidels and the nonbelievers so they think that they must sacrifice themselves for their god and their religion.

Those passages were said when Muhammad was being attacked by the people from Mecca because he was kicked out for trying to convert people to Islam. I do not think that it means go out and kill every non-Muslim, but it can be interpreted however because there is no hierarchy in Islam, the interpretation is all your own.

Those passages are some of the reasons many Muslims hate Jews so much. And the president of Iran says he wants them wiped off the planet, and he is trying to get some nukes. Many people think he is just bullshitting. But Hitler wrote a book about what he was going to do to the Jews, and no one believed him, and look what happened there.

technically, fundamentalist muslims are just taking revenge for the crusades!!! that was a pretty good example of taking the "mission" of Christ to a literal truth!

Left Behind: The Game??? LaHaye and Jenkins are really milking this Left Behind thing! You think they would have stopped after thier twelve book when Christ came back (I started reading this series when I was in High School)! After, the 7th book, it was getting repititive and old! It should have ended after the 12th book when Christ came back byt instead they decide to write about what the characters were like before the Rapture! I started to read The Rising but it was seriously stupid and I stopped! They need to call it quits already!

Also, I said thisabout the Grand Theft Auto Series and Bully! If people do not like these games, just don't buy it!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

i don't think the books had anything to do with it... asside from spawning the game... the game itself is a blatant example of theocentrism, and should be reprimanded harshly in the media and all social critics.
