but can anyone actually argue that abandoning oil in favor of solar and other locally generated power is at all a bad thing? i mean, how could be leaving a limited natural resource alone, in favor of infinite renewable engergy be a bad thing to anyone but overpaid, greedy, evil (one of the rare times i'll use the term) oil executives???

just because technology is difficult to come by, doesn't mean it isn't valuable to do so...

oil is easy, and makes money; that's the only reason we're still guzzling it like red bull!!!

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

Warmer winters? Haha, that's a laugh pt. Maybe where you live. I've actually noticed progressively colder winters and progressively warmer summers. But you know when it is a really hot summer, everyone blames it on "Global warming". But when we have cold icy winters, they blame it on "climate changes". It changes every other year. They can't make up their mind. I do believe that we are doing SOME damage to our earth but I don't see how we are gonna destroy it, seeings how the earth has been around for no one knows how long and plenty of asteroids and meteors have hit it, plenty of horrific volcanic eruptions have happened, plenty of devastating continent-separating earthquakes have happened. I don't think burning fossil fuels is really gonna do that much harm. If anything we will just adapt and evolve like every other major earth change that has happened.

I watched Oprah with Al Gore on it the other day promoting his DVD and he had all of these bullshit charts that were shown. They were complete bullshit, I am no scientist but this dumbass expects me to believe that we know what the CO2 levels on earth were in the time of the dinosaurs. Please explain to me how that is possible AT ALL. They were stupid charts like you see in you junior high math book that were just made up to try and prove a point. There is no way someone can know the CO2 levels of our atmosphere 65 million years ago. BTW this chart was claiming that we have had a massive spike in the last 30 years. There were some other retarded charts also I know he just used to make himself sound and look smarter because they were essentially meaningless and prolly just pulled out of someone's ass. Anybody else see these?

NO I believe in global warming haha there's no doubt about that whether it's natural or man-caused I just don't believe that it is as bad as some DVD-sellers make it out to be. If it was that important then Al wouldn't need to promote his DVD every day or sell it he could just give it away to people if it's that important but no all he does is make sales pitches. But he insists that every family in America should own his DVD on numerous occassions, well it's not like he needs the money it's already sold millions so why doesn't he just give it to people for free or lower the price if it truly is that important then he wouldn't even be thinking about money.

Off topic, but let me get this straight...Its ok to call a greedy oil executive who destroys the environment (who are bad dont get me wrong) evil but its not ok to call a terrorist who kills thousands of people evil. The terrorist is just terribly wrong? I dont know just somethin to think about pt.

Anyways...I realize global warmings and issue but not near as big of one as people make it out to be.

And yes I do believ the aliens made the pyramids.

look what i said... i said "rare times", and even then i knew i shouldn't have used it. i take it back... i don't agree with the term "evil" on principle. it implies "holy/god/good". i thought i could sneek it in, but i can't. so i will never use it again!!!

and at the same time... at least the terrorits are doing what they believe, not just raping the livelyhoods of the people who work for them!

but still... i'll never use the term again, even loosely!!!

Well yeah cuz I just figured if you were gonna use it for oil executives on rare times you could use it for terrorists too. But it was just a thought. No big deal.
