Okay... First off. I'm not an authoritarianistic person. Matter of fact, I'm 100% pro democracy, freedom, etc. etc. That's why I have the American flag. I am all for freedom of speech and I am all for protests of any type. People want to say what they believe which I believe is 100% right. BUT, once you start breaking windows, slashing tires, vandalizing city streets, etc. etc., then it goes from a peaceful protest to a RIOT. That's why the POLICE... not the MILITARY, stop people from destroying private and public property.
I am presenting facts, which you are not. You still have the video up of SWAT members... once again PITTSBURGH SWAT members arresting a kid for BREAKING a window at a BMW car dealership. That my friend is rioting and not protesting.
You still have it up as "disturbing video of the military snatching someone out of the crowd and driving off," when in fact they are POLICE officers. You sir, are not presenting facts, but distorting the truth.
I presented you the tactic that POLICE use when trying to control a RIOT and arresting people and in a situation when there are not many police nearby, so they come and pick up the person they arrest as fast as possible and drive off to the jail with the arrested person so they are not RUSHED by the rioters.
The person on the bike I don't really care about, I just presented to you what WASN'T in the video. You are basing your opinion on a couple minute clip for both videos and not looking outside of those videos. Yeah they were a bit rough and weren't taking shit from the biker who obviously wasn't listening to police orders so they got rough with him. When have you not seen police get a bit rough with RIOTERS (yes, the guy on the bike may not be a rioter), but when you are on the street that was completely vandalized by the rioters and you are not listening to police orders, what do you expect?
If you can't debate with me, that's fine. I'm always mature about debates and look at both sides of the issue, but I don't appreciate being told I'm not presenting facts, when I am, and also being told I support authoritative rule when in fact, I am completely opposite.
You sir, should not judge so quickly...
"When I hear athletes call themselves warriors, it does bother me a little bit. When I think of a warrior, I think of the Marines I've led in combat, those Marines that sacrificed so much...no showers, little food, no contact with their family, all for their love for their brother Marine and for their love for their country. That's a warrior, willing to lay his life on the line. I've had Marines that have laid their lives on the line for the man next to him, and for their family and country. That's a warrior. The guy who goes into some athletic contest who has no war experience, in my eyes, really has no right to call himself that. That's a coveted thing to call someone, and that's what I call my Marines. Those are warriors." - Brian Stann
