Nope. Its 7:00 PM. I got it figured out (1900 hrs for those of you who have served Uncle Sam).

First black watch says 9:45, its Saturday night and I would be drunk at that hour.

I'm gonna go do a search right now on the Invicta Skelleton, I dig that.
The Invicta is a really nice watch that catches people's eyes.

As for the nookas, it's pretty straight forward once you get the hang of reading it like that. For example, for the first and last ones: the dots (or bars on the middle one) are the hours, the notches are the minutes and the seconds count down in real time. then there is a spot for alarm and am/pm on the white and middle ones because there are only 12 dots. For some reason the other just didn't get the am/pm dots.

those ones read: 7:02:51, 9:53:25, 9:50:08

I got a couple of Tag Heuers because I have never really liked Rolex's. I also like Tissot, Oris, Raymond Weil, and a few others. I like getting a little more rugged a watch then the Rolex. With my tag's I can go diving, spear fishing, just about anything that I wanted and not have to take it off...in fact one actually has an adjustment for the width of a wet suit.

Just get the watch you are looking for...looks, casual, formal, active, etc. It is all subjective.

As far as Rolex's go though, 7K will not get you a very nice one.

It is like saying I got 35k to buy a mercedes....you have limited your options a lot with that brand at that price.

I'd probably travel with that money TBH, but I'm never going to tell anyone not to buy an awesome accessory like that.

Being almost 40 (almost... *sigh*) and having some liquidity to play with... not 7k ... I wouldnt spend any amount of money on a watch.

Mind you, Im not a jewelery guy...I only wear my wedding band... no rings, no chains, and definitely no watch.

If I had 7k just taking up space in my wallet, I would probably give it away to relatives that I know would appreciate the help... but hey, thats just me

Geezus dude, you're gonna retire in your late 40s !?!?
Wow, Ive got a huge arse mortgage starin me in the face for at least the next 10 years, 2 little mouths to feed for at least the next 15yrs... and I doubt my RRSPs will ever amount to anything I can retire on.
Other than that, my only hope is the 649 retirement plan LOL.

So when you start looking at 40, or get there, you can get yourself a kick ass toy?

I better start shopping.

I believe I have discovered the masculine equivalent of shoe or handbag chasing.

Guys can just claim it as a midlife crises. A watch really helps solidify an identity.
