Just got a ceiling hook for my heavy bag but got given crappy screws. Not sure how I'm gonna put this up. Or if it will hold!

Did not realize Ed O'Neill aka Al Bundy was a BJJ blackbelt under Rorion Gracie, what the hell? :O

Quote:

Chuck Liddell was on the latest episode of Fox Sports’ Barfly alongside actor and BJJ black belt Ed O’Neill, AKA Al Bundy and host and author Mark Kriegel and the former UFC light heavyweight champion and Hall-of-Famer got emotional when talk turned to his retirement.

Liddell said the decision was one of the hardest ones he ever had to make and that he realized it was time to hang up the gloves when he could no longer take a punch like he used to in spite of being in the best shape of his career and as ready for his last fight with Rich Franklin as he was for any in his career. According to “The Icemen” although he wishes things played out differently, he has no regrets and he went out swinging.

“I went out the way I fought. I fought my way. People say I should have changed and I should have tried to wrestle more,” the UFC VP of business development explained. “I went out my way. I went out the way that I fight. I went out on my shield. That’s it. Done.”

On an episode of Modern Family he choked out his son talking about how the Gracie brothers showed him this move

Apparently he was also drafted by the Steelers in 1969, so he was this close to being apart of the legendary the steel curtain.

If you're playing the guitar I've got good advice for you. Don't ever change strings while (slightly) drunk.

I just accidently put 12 gauge strings on my guitar that has a Floyd Rose tremolo and now the whole apparatus including strings is like an inch away from the fretboard because the tremolo doesn't support the kind of tension 12 gauge strings need. So I'm either stuck with throwing away a 20€ set of strings or trying to find a music shop (which is a feat in itself around here) that sells Floyd Rose tremolo springs. Of course I could just order one online, but these things cost like 2,50€ and I'm sure as hell not gonna pay another 5€ for packaging and delivery.

Rant over. Thanks for bearing with me.

Actually I've got even better advice. Don't ever buy a guitar with a Floyd Rose tremolo.

The fact that the UFC has cracked down on the free sites hosting fight vidoes is getting on my nerves.

I don't like having to visit sites so sketchy my virus guard is hunkered down, hiding in the backseat just to watch some Edgar/Maynard goodness!
