I've just started watching House (for the first time). 5 episodes into season 1... I like it.

Does the show have a 'main' plot? Or do all the episodes feature a 'sick person of the day' type theme?

Don't know why but I just started watching the very first season of The King of Queens, just felt right :P

At least it's better than studying which I've been doing since 8AM until an hour ago (7PM)... God I hate exams

Man I love King of Queens. Arthur is definitely in my top 5 all time favourite sitcom characters.

Right along side Fez from That 70's Show, Barny and Marshall from HIMYM, and Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.

I hardly remember season 1, but I think it did start off kinda slow. If you like it, you'll definitely like it even more further on. About the episodes, yeah, pretty much every episode features that type of theme, but throughout every season there's a 'main plot'. Think of it as Dexter - he kills someone every episode, but all season long there's something bigger going on.
Don't want to spoil too much, but you'll love S4, you'll know what I'm talking about when you finish it.

Awesome, some shows ONLY have the episode only plots and I get bored of them pretty damn quickly.

Shows like Dexter, Supernatural etc just keep you coming back for more Hoping I can add House to that list one day. I have high hopes!

Breaking Bad - Couldn't get into it. Didn't give it much of a shot tbh though, may try again.
Dexter - I watch repeatedly.
Friday Night Lights- it's about American Football isn't it? No thanks. Unless it's extremely character driven with insane plot twists etc?
Game of Thrones - Awesome, but I'd rather read the books for a 4th time than watch the show again. Prefer to get the full story.
Justified - Googling, never heard of it.
Walking Dead - Returns soon! F Yes!
