Depends on how much you play and how much of the content you do.
The single player story will be around 25-30 hours or so, but that's not what TES is about. It's about the side guilds, exploration, loot finding, side-quests, etc.
For example, the mage guild is almost as long as the single player story, as is the other guilds (4 confirmed guilds). That's not including the 150+ hand-crafted dungeons you need to find and explore (most with end dungeon bosses/loot), the countless full blown, story driven side-quests, the hidden loot you will find, etc. You also have things like blacksmith, alchemy, cooking/small jobs like working lumber, etc. Buy houses, decorate the houses with gear and stuff, it's a giant game.
If you play like all day long day to night, you'll get through the game in 2-3 weeks (still an extremely long single player game), but if you play like most of us where you have to work or do this and that, so you get like 3-4 hours a day or so, then the game can take up to a few months if you are set on completing everything in the game (without a strategy guide and looking things up, of course).
Video game nerd stuff in the expand box for you Leed.
I'm going to go out in like 20 minutes, got a hot date (with some Chinese food) and I plan to eat her in all her glory.

I am too but i can also appreciate a good PC game. LoL,CS,SC2,Diablo, ETC.
But nothing will beat the greatness of the Final Fantasy series. Oh how i love FF.
If FF7 was a girl i would spend every minute of every day trying to figure out how to marry her.
