Yeah their a bit pricey and not something I would ordinarily buy. Luckily my gf got them for me so I didn't have to worry about the price.
If the training shoes work out well like people say, I'll buy the light weight ones (still with the mid step) for the actual race day for another $80. If they improve my time at all I'm getting them. Should be interesting.
