Great roll today, awesome instructor that said "Don't be nice to her. She knows what she's going to encounter here" or words to that effect. We worked knee on belly transitions, pulling guard to side control, and lots and lots of live rolling which is great with this group, because a few of the guys aren't much taller than me. Then I worked and then went to my other gym for cardio. Fortunately I missed all the glamour-muscles assholes.
There's a seminar Saturday with a guy called Robert Hugus. I believe he's bringing his gf, so there'll be a woman for me to train with, but she just had surgery on her hand or something and I can't believe more women around here don't train a grappling art, considering its many practical applications.
Trying to work my way through a stack of smrt books that are making my head hurt.
