Dang man, that's some brutal news (both of them). What happened with you and her, and how long if you don't get it fixed will your dog live?

Usual couples bullshit, when I left for Montreal we were on rough times. While I was gone I was completely enjoying myself felt way better than I have in a long time. She came up and visited me for a week and my mood did a complete 180 and I realized I hated being part of the relationship.

Not completely sure, only a few months. He's on meds right now, but they only help a little bit. I guess an option that isn't surgery is to really up the meds and be more aggressive with them but that can be really hard on the dog. I'm asking around to see if anyone who can afford to get him the surgery will take him. He's only a year old. If the surgery was a 100% sure thing I would figure out some kind of way to get the money, but there is like a 65% of success, and I just can't spend that kind of money on that low of a chance as cruel as that makes me sound. The breeder I got him from is causing problems as well. They offer a two year genetic guarantee on all of their dogs and they are trying to tell me that this is something I caused and is refusing to refund the $1500 I spent on him which would help me a lot towards getting him the surgery. They are saying that if I want the money I have to give them the dog back. If I do that they will most likely have him euthanized because it reflects badly on their dogs. I told them I'm not going to report them I just want to get my dog healthy I don't care about any of the prestigious bullshit, but they aren't hearing it. I only went to an AKC breeder because they are monitored and I wanted to try to get as healthy a dog as possible. This is like a 1 in 100,000 kind of thing, it's pretty rare and it has nothing to do with how they breed their dogs, it's not like hip dysplasia, but they are more concerned about their line getting a bad reputation than they are about the health of my dog.

Think. It Ain't Illegal Yet

That is rough man. It's just good it was you who decided it was over. I've seen friends get dropped out of the blue after years and they take months to get over it. I've been through that same thing with about three girls. Sometimes I think I'm just meant to be single, I start dreading spending time with girls after a while. The day I knew my marriage was over I was driving to the theater to meet her for a semi-date and I briefly considered causing a wreck to avoid seeing her.

Sorry about the pup man that's bad all around. Hang in there man and I hope it all works out

Can't really figure out what to do with five weeks without work? What do you do in your spare time? (No, drinking can't fill a five-week gap alone)
