There's also nothing better than watching players of radically different skill and athleticism facing off.

College football used to be good, but then the NCAA because so money hungry they completely stopped caring about the rules, allowing superstar players to illegally obtain money and not keep up with their grades to get on the field, and now conferences like the SEC basically field semi-pro teams instead of student-athletes.

It's also likely rampant with steroid abuse.

The result is "championship" games where one team simply just lines up in the I and runs the ball 50 times for 8 yards per carry and the other teams just curls up in a ball and calls it a day. It's pathetic to watch in every way. It'd be like having another MMA organization where everyone just throws a jab and right hand and nothing else, and calling it better than the UFC.

With opinions this bad this must be the same sort of person that thinks Women's MMA is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

But I'll watch college or even high school football over the NFL any day. They play with more heart and you can see an actual love of the game at this level. It's not (as much) about the money and sponsorships as it is in the NFL.

Casual fan opinion followed by uneducated one.

College football is nothing but a giant money scam, it's become even more commercialized than the NFL which is terrible because there's the actual facade of a student and his education.

This is why teams are traveling 2000 miles across country to play "conference" games. Because they don't give a shit about the kids and haven't for years.

Also this "more heart" garbage is the biggest cop out excuse to watch an inferior sport I've ever seen.

Most kids at the HS and college level quit on the field, there's very little pressure so most don't play through injuries...they are easily rattled and pulled to save themselves from embarrassment.....because for the most part, 90 percent of kids on scholarship have a guaranteed spot(unlike the NFL where you can be cut at any moment) and a free ride, and because a lot of them aren't getting paid by illegal boosters, they don't give a ****. If you can literally name one example of how they play with more "heart" which is a complete abstract and arbitrary concept in the first place, I'd possibly accept your opinion as a little more than biased nonsense.

The real reason most people like college over the pros is because they have some sort of complex about the overpaid "savages" in the NFL and think that watching a bunch of underskilled, underathletic college kids maintains the "purity" of the game.

But no one ever admits to that...because it implies insecurity.

Overall I don't know which I enjoy more college or NFL. I love both equally I think. I enjoy the differences. I have more ties to my college team then I do my pro team for a number of reasons. It's closer and cheaper to go the games so I get to see far more OU football games then I do Dallas Cowboys games. Also my state doesn't have a pro team, even though I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan and it's only about a 3 hours drive.
But overall enjoyment of the sports are pretty equal. They offer up different things. Seeing a good college upset or a classic rivalry is great. But so is watching the best of the best at the pro level. Watching Peyton Manning or Adrian Peterson at the top of their game is a thing of beauty.
I get why people can be just a college guy or just a pro guy because they are different. But I love both.

Handegg >>>>> Football.

My new parrotlet is doing great, got some pics that I will upload soon. He is mostly tame, a little nervous as he is in a new home but he easily hops on my hands and eats/plays.

Taking him to the vet in about an hour to get him checked up and registered just in case.

Hey bro I have to ask, when a domestic bird escapes, is there really any hope in finding it again? I always see missing bird posters, but it's really not the same as a cat or a dog.

El Bresko, when a domestic bird escapes, you left the kitchen door opened again.
