I still feel like they lose something. Even on tape delay I'm don't get excited. It's a weird one, like well this already happened so I just want to know the end. I can't TiVo for that reason I end up fast forwarding until I see a finish or a decision.

For me, as long as I don't already know the results it's fine. There's nothing more frustrating than searching for a video and catching a spoiler on your way there.

Yeah I don't know what it is but there is a little something extra special about seeing it live. I was pretty bummed this year when I wasn't able to catch the DREAM NYE show live. Just didn't have the same feel to it watching it later.
I can still enjoy the fights, but it is missing that little extra.

Just hanging out at the house. Feeling pretty good right now but when the medicine starts to wear off I go downhill quickly.

It's just super tempting to go online and see what happened and knowing you can do that at any point becomes hard to resists especially if the fight has a little bit of a lull.

That's why I love those Bud Lite commercials about it's only crazy if it doesn't work, because anyone who is a sports fan gets it. I remember watching the Super Bowl with my dad when the Pats were undefeated and the Giants were winning and we both got up to get something and switched seats when we came back. The Pats got a few big plays, we both looked at each other and switched back without even saying anything. Do I think that really mattered? Of course not, but it's just funny that we knew to switch.

LOL yeah I have a buddy that takes that shit super serious. You can't leave his house during a game. If he invites you watch a game and you don't show up and the team loses, it's your fault. If you show up and you don't have the your team gear on and the team loses? It's your fault. LOL sports fans be crazy. But we can't help it. We were born this way.

Everybody's got a friend like that. My favorite is a guy I've known for like ten years, if you're watching a handegg(american football) game and a play goes under review, he will never declare what it is. He always says "I believe it to be (whatever it is) and I would imagine that the refs will see it as such" He refuses to just call it, no matter how obvious. He says if he just calls it they will always go the other way.

That reminds me of my buddy(same one I mentioned last post) had a weird thing about playing challenges/reviews when playing Madden. He would force everyone to watch all the replays and wait for the result to come. If you touched a button and skipped the cinema process he was convinced the refs didn't get to see the review LOL. It's a video game! They know what happened!

I couldn't stay off the forums this long though, I'd be way too bored. All I do here is train, internet and sleep.
Yeah, I don't know what part of NC he's from though, does sound like something he'd partake in.
