How much do you guys squat? I was squatting a lot of weight (for me) earlier, and it occured to me..there are men in the gym I have yet to see squat my weight with proper form!!!

How much do you guys squat??

I squat 100KG including the bar... That's what, just over 220lbs?

Usually 5 sets of 5 reps.

Wow, a REAL man! That's quite a lot! I can't do that but that's my goal by the end of the year! My coaches have me just do 5 reps as well. They say it's good for linear progression.

Do you find it difficult?

I find it very difficult hahaha.

Ive literally just gone up to that weight in the last week or so.. Can't go any heavier without sacrificing form so i'd imagine I'll be on that weight for a few weeks. Always looking to increase when I can though.

Well at least you're trying, babe. Some guys I see just work on benching and tricep curls. That seems to be a very impressive weight regardless of whether you find it heavy or not.

Girls have great femur and hip flexibility than guys, we squat below parallel easily so I guess we have more leverage than guys in that sense. But then, guys have more potential for really heavy weight so that evens it out.

I am on 80kgs. Will get better.

Just rewatched the boxing match between Roy Jones Jr and David Telesco. What a one sided fight. Haven't seen it in forever.
