Man this has pissed me off! It's your ******* health just for the sake of a bit of ego? I hope you get revenge. I popped a guys elbow for less a few weeks ago.

Heel hooks can cause career, hell life changing or ending injuries. What a jackass.

Thanks to Leakler for the sig

Just went to Lake Earl, you can only fish there when it isn't flooded, but it's still flooded, so extremely frustrating. I wanted to go fishing on the boat today but it was too cold, I seriously can't seem to win when it comes to fishing this year.

Did this a few years ago. Guy a knew kept telling everyone "i train jj!!" blah blah blah. Thought he was big shit. He had a party and challenged me, talked a bunch of smack, and thought he was going to show off in front of some girls.. Arm bared him and rolled to my stomach... He never claimed he did jj again.

Alright I'll add my story since everyone is sharing theirs. A friend who's about 250+ said he could get out of my headlock. So I modified it before Mckenzie ever did. I know...I know "everybody knows" it, but at the time I didn't. I just figured there's better grip. Well, he didn't get out of it, but it certainly tweeked his neck a bit...haha cuz he almost picked me up and slammed me til I cranked on it even harder. This was way before I even started training legitimately. Till this day though that's probably my go to move. It's the simplest yet effective.

Oh, one time in a bar/lounge I got into a scrap and put a guy in headlock falling backwards...lolz! Wish I could say I choked em out. I didn't. But it was still cool!

Man, feel like getting a Coca-Cola slurpee.

I should be sleeping, it's 4 in the morning here, but I'm too excited to see Great Big Sea in about 16 hours, so I'm listening to a bunch of their music to pass the time.

I once got cornered by 3 guys. I kicked one in the nuts, hopped over him as he fell and ran. That's the closest I have to a BJJ story

I got away as well *flex*

I mckenzietined my opponent 12 straight times in MMA rolling ptactice, since then he has gone 3-0 in pro mma with all wins coming by sub, I don't train with him no more though heh, mainly because he headkicked me in BOXING sparring like a dickhead, I didn't get KO'd or rocked but I nearly got ****ed up like mike winklejohn's eye.

Headkick in a boxing sparing session!? It's stories like the above few that really put me off of training. I don't like fighting regardless, I just don't have that mindset unless my temper goes (which is rare, I'm laid back as **** to say the least) but even then... I've literally been punched in the face, hard, and just smiled and walked away. Just didn't really phase me. I felt like that would infuriate them more than fighting back. A fight I probably would of lost in the process.

However I don't like the thought that someone's ego can literally mean a broken limb, purely because they wanted to show off a little bit. I know those cases are rare though, and don't happen everywhere. Gracie Barra gym near me is very well respected (Braulio Estima owns the gym and teaches there at times) so I would love to get into it at some point, so I can understand the intricacies a little bit better.
