The combo of me having my annual doctors appointment tomorrow, thyroid was removed when I was 12 so I have to check levels once a year, and the fact that I developed sleep apnea about 9 months ago caused me to change my diet. Wake up call was when I got bronchitis but couldn't take the cough medicine do to sleep apnea so I decided I would go from that day until my doctor appointment(a little over 5 weeks total) with no fast food, no soda, no candy, switched from 2% milk to Skim extra, switched sugary cereal with FiberOne cereal, went from white bread to whole grain white(I hate wheat bread), reduced my servings and switched whatever I could to the turkey version(burger,sausage ect).
But it has paid off and my sleep has improved 100x what it was. I also no longer fall asleep at my desk.
