They are also very noisy, messy and small. They fly away pretty easily if you leave them enough space. People say that they are pretty easy to teach to talk but I've heard other stories as well. There is a section on Ehow about budgies. Look it up.

I just sent off another resume and cover letter. *sigh*

I think today is going to be my first rest day this week, apart from my customary dog walks, which only add up to about 2 miles. I am very sore from 90 min of various standup drills last night, on top of karate.

I know a lot about them, I have a fully trained and tamed one.

They aren't really noisey except in the morning (if you have many of them, expect noise), but 1 or 2 isn't that bad. Bird mess is a huge misconception with most people. They only make a mess in "their" areas (their cage and other areas designed/made for them). If they do make a mess, such as if you give them a millet to eat eating, it takes 30 seconds to clean up, and they generally eat in their cage, so the mess hits the bottom of the cage anyways. When compared to a dog, who makes a mess everywhere in the house, gets into everything it can, leaves toys, slobber, hair, not to mention smell terrible if not given a bath regularly, birds are a heaven in this aspect.

As for flying, it isn't an issue if your house is bird proof (if you have a bird that can fly, your house should be bird proof) with screens on the windows and doors. Mine is out of her cage when I am home, and she has no issue flying around. She even flies to me whenever I hold my hand out.

That channel has a lot of comedies. The best comedy is a movie that tries to be serious but fails in many ways. Like, I talked to a few people who watched 2012, said it was awesome. I watched it, and laughed the whole way through it.

I just checked on my online classes and realized that nothing that I have posted in the discussion section was actually posted and that I received 0 points for all of them thus far. I just submitted a very respectful email to my professor asking if I could resubmit them. Hopefully he allows me to do so.

My favorite is "frankenfish" its just so terrible, I was watching it high as a kite and it still sucked ass. I've watched golf high and its been okay, but goddamn that frankenfish!

And your bird is awesome as hell

That's not fun, bro. I'm in online classes with my local community college, and they're usually pretty lenient. However, I had one professor that wouldn't accept anything late at all.

On a side note, I've been fighting bees nests all day. I usually do a pretty good job keeping them tamed, because we live in a log cabin, and bees love wood. But, I was pretty upset with myself yesterday. The other day, my four year old came in crying from being stung. I went and looked under his swing-set, and there was a small nest, only containing about 2-3 wasps. However, he came running in screaming yesterday, and had been stung twice, within an inch of each other. I mean, they broke the skin, and he was bleeding. I was on a ******* mission. I went back out, and found the biggest Yellow Jacket nest I've ever seen up under his slide. I was upset with myself because I don't know how I could've missed a nest this size the first time. I sprayed them, and by the time I was done, the nest was probably 6-8" in size, and about 15-20 dead Jackets on the ground. I killed another Jacket nest today that was about 6", and the last I killed was about 4".

They're everywhere, and I'm trying my hardest, but these ******* are starting to piss me off.

Brake parts cleaner does a good job of knocking them down and has a hell of a stream coming out of the can. Still have to stomp them afterward but it shoots a lot further than Raid or whatever b.s. they're calling insecticide these days. Good luck with it

I've been using Rainbow Bee/Insect Killer, which is what our local electric company uses when they have to go into the woods. It kills them almost on contact, but the ordinary 'Joe' can't buy it. My Dad was employed with the biggest electric company in our state, and ordered it when they did. It'll spray about 10-15 feet. I'm on my last can now.
