Expendables. Just cuz.

Right now, I'm loving GIMP. I feel like I just got turned into concept/promo art for a fighting game:

Haven't seen Expendables (And damn I hate myself for it, ultimate dude-movie) but I can promise you that Inception is one hell of a movie, great plot, great visuals and an awesome idea all around

Watching the Barcelona-Sevilla game atm. Missed the 1st half, but turned it on right when the 2nd half started.
In other news... boy, lots of goals today in the Premiere League.

We went shopping in Erie PA, which is about as far away as Hamburg, NY, but has cheaper gas. Older Swplet made the JV soccer team, which may not sound like a big deal, but she was devastated when she didn't make it last year, and this is vindicating for her.

L&M fell in love with a dog he saw in the pet store. This store claims to get all their dogs from local breeders, which I question, but they supposedly provide contact information. It was a pug/rat terrier mix. It wasn't ugly like it sounds; it looked like a tiny boxer. He is as much of a mark for dogs as I am, and didn't ask for the dog to be brought out, because (his words) "then we'd be going home with him."

My belt test went well, IMO. I hope to find out if I passed at the next class on Thursday.

EDIT: Small swplet put "Goodnight, golf in the morning" as her FB status. 1) Golf is not till 12:30 and stop hurrying me. 2) Apparently "goodnight" means "sitting on the couch eating all the Lucky Charms and fishing out all the marshmallows."

This has been a long, brutal summer for anyone who tries to grow extremely short, extremely manicured grass. I'm going to regret saying this, but I cannot f*cking wait for winter and for golf season to be soooooo over.

The zombieocalypse is inevitable. Better over-prepared than turned.

As for me, I'm enjoying X-Men Noir. Definitely not the X-Men I'm familiar with, but it's an interesting take on the universe. And it oozes detective noir flair... which I have long loved.
