HAHHA word. I use my left had most of the time. Right arm is my strong arm though, left arm is more for accuracy stuff. So Like if I throw a ball its usually with my right but if i'm say, golfing or bowling, I go right. I write left handed too. But I draw on chalk board right handed :\
I was ambidextrous when I was younger, but my parents made me pick a hand to be dominant with. Apparently being ambidextrous is horrible for a persons mental health and increases your chances for mental disorders across the board. I could prob learn to write with my left hand again, but its not worth the risk.
Besides I still wank with my left xD
Do you have any articles on that or anything? That's really interesting. Not trying to call your mom out on it or anything but it sounds like a wives tale to me. But I'd really like to know if that's true.
EDIT: Okay, I've done my research for the subject and I only found 1 or 2 articles by reputable people and the general consensus is that if you're ambidextrous you're no more prone to having any sort of mental issues. What they said is that people are often misdiagnosed when they're told they are ambidextrous and that when this happens its a sign of brain damage. What that means is that if you BECOME ambidextrous
ut of the blue" or something like that (not born like it or trained) then you possibly have brain damage. Some people born being ambidextrous also are more prone to having mental issues such as schizophrenia but it is not because they are ambidextrous, they are ambidextrous because they are schizophrenic. Therefore being Cross dominant has no bearing on weither or not you're going to have mental issues because you're born with it, being ambidextrous is merely a by-product of the disease many times. What I'm saying is that your parents saying "Hey pick a dominant hand or you're going to be crazy" is totally worthless and the only thing it accomplished is that you know cant use one of your hands as well as the other. If you were going to get a mental diseas you'd already have it. So anyone else who is ambidextrous dont be afraid, you're more than likely fine but if you feel like you have mental health issues then go see a doctor. Just dont freak out because you're cross dominant (unless you just become that wya, then freak out). Good information to know if you have kids who are ambidextrous (like me, it runs in my family.
