Do you choose to correct people in a PM?
No, but I don't expect you to correct facts in a PM either. Publicly lecturing people on how they post within the ToS, however, is another story.
No, you attempt to make fools of others in your posts. Don't try and stand on a soap box now and expect consideration.
Don't be silly. The thread starter made a fool of himself the moment he responded with venom to Xitup's informative post. You may be right about other instances, though. I'll consider the merit of any example you have in mind.
However, looking over this thread, I'm not sure why I'm the one being cornered.

Oh, and have you visited the 'Rampage arrested' thread today?
You'll find that in there, I was the first (even before the news sites) to come up with the original local news report. I also calmed some wild-eyed posters who assumed that news sites were stealing the thread starter's photos, rather than purchasing them. Those posters, by the way, were posting libelous claims on high profile media outlets and linking back to mmaforum, but my posts helped them realize there error.
Seems like I should be up for a mod position, no?
It also seems like I should be getting more work done at work, but that's another issue.
I didn't give you a neg rep.
Fair enough. It had some weight behind it and showed up at around the same time your admonishment did, so I played the odds. Want to take a bet on zzztigerzz81?
I don't use neg rep, personally. I've been known to hand out the green stuff on occasion, though.
