It seems synonymous with Democrat or anything anti-conervative.
Here it is like the opposite, a liberal, at least in terms of economics would be one who believees in limited government intervention.

Here liberals are compared to communists and socialists all the time. What you're describing actually sounds pretty conservative, by American standards.

What's the point of trying to help them? Why is America always being blamed for other countries problems? America didn't make them poor. Most of our foreign aide just goes to corrupt, 3rd world dictators who line their own pockets instead of helping their people. The same dictators that WANT their people to stay in poverty just so they can remain in power. Myanmar ring a bell? Their leaders are so corrupt, they wanted no outside assistance when there people were dying by the thousands...North Korea, their leader resisted for so long because they didn't want their people to know America actually wants to help them and don't even get me started on Muslim leaders. When their is a natural disaster, who is the first country in the world sending in supplies and our Navy to help? When we actually try and do something about those dictators who kill hold their people in poverty, we are labeled as monsters, warmongers, imperialists, etc. America has done more to help the rest of the world than any country in history. We're scrutinized when we don't give enough money and ignored when we are their to answer people's help. We're hated when we use our military power to remove a dictator and stop a genocide, then blasted when we don't use our military to stop another genocide. The world loves to blame America for its problems, I for one am pretty tired of it.

I wasn't referring to this bill specifically, just poor people in general, especially American ones.

Does every American think Caring = Killing?

Here is a link to estimates of the civilian death toll due to the American invasion of Iraq:

I bet all Iraqi's rue the fact that America cares so much.

I love some of the responses to this....it's like "We aren't already doing enough? We illegally invaded that country and plunged it into even greater chaos than it was before didn't we? What more do you freeloaders want?"

0.7%.......I'm sure it will be crippling for you lot.

Well he is correct and incorrect in terms of money. The US has given the most money but if you go by percentages then the US hasn't given the most per year for a couple years.
