The Simpsons

I am the most die hard Simpsons fan, but this season, the show has really gone down hill. It's a ******* shame the jokes they make now....Martin Luther King? I have always been defending the Simpsons no matter how shit the episodes are, but now it's just getting ridiculous. END THE SHOW NOW GUYS!!

I really liked the first 6-7 seasons of The Simpsons where the humor was very family related. My all-time favorite episode is the one where Marge becomes pregnant with Maggie, Homer quits his job at the plant for his dream job at the bowling alley, but then has to crawl back to Mr. Burns for his old job where he is given "The Plague" as a matter of company policy, but then re-arranges the lettering of the plaque to read "Do it for her." This was some of the best stuff ever.

Up until about 2003, Simpsons was still the best show ever, then they just freakin nose dived. It's probably the least funniest show on the Sunday night bloc. Their jokes are sooo themed and irrelavent, they're trying way too hard to go the Family Guy way and relavant to recent happenings, but they fail extremely hard.

It's a serious shame. It's like if they came out with GodFather 4, starring; Paul Walker, Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russel.

Ah, Plazzman I can always count on you to put it the best way. I never would have admitted it before, but the Simpsons are trying way too hard to be something they are not with all the references. It's such a shame because for a majority of the first seasons, they were actually funny and not just pandering to the critics. Oh well, at least we will always have the first bunch of seasons.

I haven't watched it in over a year. It's pretty meh worthy now. If it's on the telly when I'm eating dinner I switch over and watch Hollyoaks.
