Have a question about glass in foot...

Since I wouldn't answer this question seriously, don't mind if you do either, just hope for at least one real answer. So a while back I got a little piece of glass caught in my foot that wouldn't come out. The next 2 days it pretty much stopped hurting, but I went to the podiatrist anyway, and the dude took an x-ray, found nothing. So it's a couple of months later and I noticed it's almost healed over but there is a round circle with the skin missing. Should I care about this? If the glass is still in there and the skin healed around it, will it move? Yeah, I'm a nervous Jew.

I'll give you a serious answer.

The glass won't move. Your body will eventually push it out. It could come out today or it could come out 10 years from now but eventually you're body will expel it.

I have a piece of glass in my finger from a glass thermometer I broke and there's a bump but it doesn't move. It just hurts if I hit it.

I did this once on my foot and it came out the top, no shit, MJB is right eventually it will come out, in my case it was just odd because my foot started hurting and eventually I realized something was under the skin I went to the doctor and he removed a large piece of broken glass that had worked its way entirely through my foot.

Depending on how deep it was in my foot, I would probably dig it out with a razor and a set of tweezers.

if it went up your leg.. and ended up in your torso somehow.. would you have died? .. or what if it went up your leg.. and you somehow pissed it out.. thatd probably hurt ALOT and you'd be so clueless about how it happened.. you'd probably be so ****in scared everytime you go to piss for the rest of your life.

if ya get lucky, the body will start to encase it in fluid, and it just keeps building up. its called an Inclusion Cyst. and eventually you can pop it. when i had one of these my foot dr said "we can pop it if you want, i mean ill try and hit the wall for ya! but if we dont get the thing thats causing it out, its just gonna fill back up." so he suggested surgery and thats what we did.
