Switching to Digital TV

So if you live in the U.S. (not sure if they are doing it anywhere else or if there are even any other countries besides the U.S.), you've probably seen the commercials that you have to switch to digital cable by Feb. 17. Well here is an awesome little gem my older brother sent me...enjoy!

I hate this crap cause in a huge part of detroit around here they had cable hooked up to every house without any subscriptions and crap. No paying anything just hook to the wall and go, no black box nothing illegal. Now that they are doing work on the lines they cut it off so I dont know if they even realized it was like that. Happened to everyone I know around here. No one was stealing cable really, I just dont think they send people out to disconnect it. I have to watch court shows all day now.

Listen, if an old woman not understanding things doesn't make you happy, I don't know what to tell you.

To tell you the truth it did make me happy. I find it funny how the stations around here and saying its a complicated transition for everyone when actually no one around here has to do anything if they have cable. Also if they dont than all they have to do is get a freakin box. The best part I thought was when she said: "Is this my new tv?"

I've never met one person in the last decade that used rabbit ears...but the Senate voted to push this back, so all those cable companies wasted millions of dollars in advertising. That's got to be real good for their struggling bottomline.
