This is the way I see it;

As a Canadian, any small ailment can be treated for free. I dont mind waiting 10 mins for a doctor to see my sprained ankle or broken hand. Thats all its ever taken me.

Also, if Im a poor Canadian, at least I have the option to wait for a costly procedure.
If I am a rich Canadian, I can easily drive/fly a few hours south and no one in the US will be refusing my money.

If the US was not so close, maybe I would have a problem with our health care, but since I can easily go to many US hospitals, I do not worry about these things. My money there is just as good as anybodies.
Well said. Canada's health care system is very similiar with Finland's. Basically its free here and overall our social support is very generous too (about 500/month+rent for reasonable apartment for unemployed people, possible child support etc. on top of that).
I don't live in US and don't follow their political situation too much, but they could greatly improve their healthcare system too if they stopped spending so much money on their weapon industry. Anyway that is not the issue here.
Brock is just like everyone else when it comes to medical care; you want the best treatment you can get/afford and if you don't think you are getting it on the place you are at the moment its no wonder you want to move to a better place. He didn't Shit on whole Canadian healthcare system on that interview, just on the specific hospital he was treated at.
No sane person would jump on a car and drive to a different country just to support his political views, he obviously thought he wasn't getting the treatment he needed and he has the right to express his opinions.

I suggest you haters to read this topic:

The quotes on this topic are taken so much out from context that its easy to hate Lesnar for them. Yes the guy makes dumb comments too but I doubt anyone here can really blame the guy for his actions this time.

This is just it. Most Americans can't afford the proper healthcare they'd get for free if they lived in Canada. How much does it cost when you break your arm in the US? If anyone has an approximate answer...

On the flip side, yeah people do die waiting for surgeries, but it happens in both countries... the main point is, everyone here gets the same opportunity to get better, while down south it's all about the $$$

In America, it's about making your own opportunity. Why should a high school dropout receive the same benefits as a graduate of Stanford?

Im not sure if you really didnt understand or not so I'll explain.

2 poor people need an expensive medical procedure to be performed on them or they will die.

Poor person in Canada = Can wait to get a costly procedure for free. Might die if it takes too much time.

Poor person in US = dead.

I love how Olson pretty much tells us that their ct machine was broken...

The US medical system is far better for people like Lesnar who have money, Brandon's hopsital doesn't even compare.
