**Official MMAF Biggest Loser Challenge Sign Up Thread !!**


Hello everyone, welcome to the first ever MMAForum.com Biggest Loser competition. This competition is meant to motivate members of MMAForum to work out at home and increase their physical health while having fun with it.

Why join?

Because this will push you to work out everyday and keep track of your progress and the winner(s) will be rewarded so it will push you to your best so you can beat out the competition.

Details:

Every week at the beginning of the week (Monday not Sunday) there will be a weekly schedule posted for the competitors and everyday that you complete the assigned task, you will recieve a set number of points for your team.

For example:

Monday - Cardio

Complete 25 min of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) or 45 minutes of running, skipping, jogging or other if given the okay by a competition moderator.

Tuesday - Core/Abs

Complete 5 sets of 40 crunches/ sit ups


These are not the actual workouts that will be used for the competition but it is a good example of what to expect.

If enough competitors sign up it will be a team competition where the two teams would compete to be crowned champions of the competition.

I think this is a great idea, but I also feel like it is extremely easy to cheat. It is like taking gym online in high school where you could go play video games for awhile and then come back and say you ran 5 miles. Unless participants post pictures and/or video evidence, it is going to be very hard to control.

Yea Inter I think Hit is right. It's very hard to control all this.. but I am going to the gym 4 times a week anyway^^ don't do much running, just building up some muscle mass ala GSP

We aren't doing it to win a silly internet contest...we all come out winners in the end. I think this is just more about motivation to get off our asses...

I knocked my body fat and visceral fat down the last three weeks while upping my muscle tone! Even lost a few pounds!!!

could always have members post a pic of themself on the scale with taht days newspaper on it, although it might be more trouble than its worth

I won't be participating in this, but am planning on starting a diet in a week or so.

I'm currently around 195lbs and am aiming for 165-170lbs by the end of the year. (I will probably lose around 20lbs in the first month with my diet)

I was on a diet last year, but stopped durring the christmas break and just never went back on it, and gained all the weight I had lost back.
