As far as horror movies go, I liked The Descent quite a bit.

As I understand it, there is an American version, and an English version. I saw the English version, which I absolutely loved. An ensemble cast of relative unknowns, great story, great acting, incredible photography, just awesome overall.

There is a sequel, but only to the American version, AFAIK.

I've never heard of "The Mist". I will look it up!

If you like Horror Movies, you should check out Martyrs. It got many different kind of critics.. but I really enjoyed it. Plus you should like High Tension too
I havnt heard of them two, i will get them downloaded. I promise you will not be dissapointed with the mist. It also has quite possibly the most powerful, emotional ending to a film ever. I recommend it to everyone in this thread.

I think just the endings are different. The copy I have includes both. I have the sequel too and liked it almost as much as the original. With the amount of girl power going on I figured you'd really enjoy it swp

Any of you guys ever seen a film called "No Retreat No Surrender", its a really old film made back in the 80's a mate of mine discovered it somehow and made me watch it because it was the first film Jean Claude Van Dams was ever credited a characters name to in the credits at the end of the film, he played some bad guy who hardly ever spoke, but the best thing about this film is that the main character is some kid who trains Karate and is trained by the ghost of Bruce Lee and becomes so good that he defeats Van Dam.

Van Damme played "the gay karate guy" in his first film. The main character is picked up by the muscles from brussels while hitchhiking and after numerous advances from van damage he demands to be dropped off. Jean Claude them performs various acrobatic karate moves and then runs off. Weird show

Forgot to mention "The Last Dragon" with the kid from Harlem I believe battling Shonuff! Loved that show
