Usually color in a tattoo fills more area than the outline. Therefore you spend more time on color than just the outline. Plus the needles for color I believe are bigger too. I have no color just black but this is what I have heard from a good few people.

I have found that it depends on the person. I prefer coloring/Shading as opposed to outlining but I also know people that are the opposite.

Don't do LSD the night of, you will slap it over and over saying how it doesn't hurt, and wake up with parts missing...

Don't ask.

How long would you wait before rolling again? I go the tat on Friday and was thinking of getting back to training on Tuesday. The artist said that should be fine as long as it doesn't hurt. He said when he does the shading and color I whould take more time off because there is a much greater chance of that ink running because it's much thicker.

As long as there isn't scabbing you can roll whenever you like!

Once any scabs are gone, you are good to go as far as I've known.

You just don't want to lose pieces of ink like I did from not being patient with them.

I think you're supposed to wait a week or so.

Get A&D ointment and an unscented lotion for after, if you haven't already.
