Just finished season 2 of Dexter and it was better than the first season, also less predictable.

Dexter

I've never got the Sopranos, watched a few episodes and just didnt care for it at all.

Congratulations you won!

loved that show too but that was my only problem with the show too

But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies- kenny powers

Can't judge a show off of 3 episodes. I didn't care for Carnivale much the first few episodes but hotdamn that shit picked up and become one of my favorite shows ever.

Just gotta keep watching, there is character devlopment up the ass..no pun intended, and it's very interesting to see the characters continue to grow and eventually you'll have your favorites that may not be your favorites later on.

Most watch TV to be entertained, and unless a show gives lots of laughs and enjoyment, I'm not entertained. Which is why I like 30 minute comedies more than hour long seriousness. I like Scrubs, Married with Children, South park, etc. Funny shows that entertain me and take me away from my serious issues in my life, rather than adding more drama and suspense.

If I wanted to get deep into emotional things, or have a connection with characters, I'd read a book, cause you get deeper/more in depth 100x more than any tv show or movie.

I agree with your first statement and I as well enjoy shows that have no time line story line.

As for your second comment, that's all subjective, people find different ways to look into things. I prefer films, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good book as well.

However, a great, deep television show is quite an experience, imo.

Yeah, it's just my way of relaxing, and to do that I need mindless fun. TV drama is just not my interest, at least serious tv drama isn't.

Everyone is defferent.
