Spying on us through our clothes!!!!! MUST READ

So I guess they are looking into putting chips in our clothes to keep closer inventory and what-not. But these chips can lead to real privacy issues. Check out the story in this link and read it all, Every paragraph has something in it that put a shock in me. Its no apocolypse but this can be a problem.

They are removable, and with that, they are visible. They can chip all the clothes they want, until I buy them. But, I don't buy clothes from Wal-Mart, anyway.

I don't buy anything from there, if I can help it.

If you go to the heart of the Walmart can you disable all of them?

Sadly out in the country (where I live) Wal-Mart is the only place to shop for miles and miles.......

As a person who has a background in retail management, if Wal-Mart is doing this other are soon to follow.

I dont really buy clothes from wal-mart. But I wouldnt really mind that anyways, as long as they are removable.

I'm in the country also, but luckily, we have Wal-Mart closer than any other store about 15 miles away. I buy a lot from Wal-Mart, just not clothes.

This is being tested for mainly wal-mart right now. But they said other companies are adopting this system. So eventually it will be on alot of things in most stores. But with the point of them being removed they said someone with a scan gun can go by your house and scan your trash and find out what you just bought. Its not %100 harmless in that sence and someone is bound to get hurt by this.

Eventually there will be a chip in every item sold and every piece of currency. That way they can see where you got the money, what you spent it on, and where you took the merchandise you bought. I watched a show on it and they said the chip can be the dot on an i in the directions on the label. Scary stuff really.
