I don't think that's accurate. I live in a sleepy little town in the south. Very low crime rate compared to big cities but, I'd be willing to bet that we have far more guns per household than you guys. Everyone I know started hunting and collecting guns as kids. Now they have gun safes and gun rooms packed full.

You probably have us beat in illegal guns (I hope)

My class was canceled, and has been rescheduled for November. I'm not happy, but I don't have another option.

You could not ask that in the thread thats going named guns!!!?????? Less threads saves space but whatever works.

For sure, Probably more illegal guns. Thats a good way to put it. Also it is stupid as hell to own an illegal gun. To much risk involved, and not needed for legit people with no record.

I don't know there are a lot of hunters in Michigan Oldfan. But I agree KnockinUout it is retarded to buy illegal guns, because of the consequences of getting caught with them. But then again criminals really don't care about that.

Why was my thread merged with this one? I created my 'Gun Talk' thread over a month ago, and was updating it for all those that actually posted in it.

Edit: Check that, apparently the new thread was merged with my older one, and because my thread was older, it made my post the original post with the incorrect title.

Good merge, Thanks mod's. I respect the other thread was first. But this should be the only thread, I can see this going far. Not like the hot girl picture thread though.

Pistols should only be used long enough to get back to your rifle that you stupidly left somewhere else

I think cops should carry two pistols at all times. A .45acp of their choice, and maybe some type of scatter wheel. The Judge with bird shot might be good as a not so deadly, but enough to really deter a perp.

the problem with a Judge and bird shot is the scatter... i shot at a can on a stick at 15 yards, and no pellets hit the can... its like an instant scatter! under 8 tho and yes... whoever eats that is NOT gonna be a happy camper!

i did hear a story, so not sure if its true, but some guy loaded his .410ga shells with like super mini broad heads.... i forget what they called em, but the thought of small triangular razor blades flying at someone wanting to cause me harm.... makes me smile! dunno if they legal, or will ever be legal.... but they sound awesome!

also, its kinda funny, some are now marketing .410gs 00 Buck shells as "Defensive" rounds. so they should be more readily available. another reason to now have a Judge!

Went to the range again and did so much better. It is amazing, Out of no where it felt like something entered my brain and gave me some common sence. After doing a quick few shots I had a new feel for the gun. I learned to squeeze the trigger and not just pull it and got my breathing down a little better. The bullet actually goes where I aim it now not just somewhere in the general target area. I am excited to go back and try to shoot from the max yards because I was hitting center at half way. The sport of this is really getting ahold of me but just have to find rounds cheaper. It is to easy to shoot 100 rounds and that cost $30. I want to shoot atleast twice a week and thats $60 a week $240 a month plus gas. If i join the club around here they give %10 off on case ammo so I might need to check how cheap that is. They also have an MP5K for rent. I was a big modern warefare fan and loved that gun. Anyone shoot one of those? I am wondering if the experiance is worth it or its a waste of sixty bucks to shoot like 60 rounds.
