Depends how drastically your changing your diet to. If your body is used to eating crap and you cut the fat you kinda shock the system until your metabolism readjusts. Of course its the same principal that puts it all back on just as fast.

You want to lose body fat go to a U weight loss place that shit is crazy. In less than a couple months my dad went from being like 246 to 180. (he is five foot eight and over 55.) I shit myself because he said he was gonna lose weight did that and walked a couple miles twice a day and literally was going through clotthes rapidly till he got to phone me proudly when he boutht a pair of pants the same size I wear. That shit is incredible if you take it and are disciplined enough to follow their diet.

Exactly!

By changing my diet and exercising routines, i went from 200 lbs down to 182 in 30 days.
More running and cardio exercise instead of lifting weights.

But more importantly - the diet.
Gave up eating bread almost entirely. Gave up eating fried foods almost entirely.
I added a lot of vegetables/salads and a lot of white meat to my diet.

Annyways. It paid off.
I didn't go for the 6 pack, getting ripped and stuff.
That would mean i would have to give up partying, alcohol and a lot of nights in the clubs. Not worth the effort.

I just wanna feel good in my body and look athletic. Wich i do.

Im in a very similar situation, with very similar goals..

Originally.. i was not looking for a 6-pack but just to get back in shape.. i let myself go for many moons :P

So i just started jogging every night.. i started jogging 5 miles nightly/Vegetarian Diet since May and dropped from a 38 waist size to 34. After the 3rd month.. i started to really get into UFC/MMA and noticed the 6-packs and figured.. why not go for it.. since i've come this far.. so i started implementing Ab workouts about a month ago, but had to reduce the distance i jog to 2 miles as it's getting extremely cold around here.. but i have since dropped from 34 to 32 waist size.. i can see the 2-pack up top .. but my lower abs still need a bit of work..

im going to keep at it until i get it

'Volcom' had some great tips relating to implementing an EAC Stack to help burn fat ..

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but 6 packs are pretty genetic. I'm a health nut who works out 5-6 times a week. Last year I spent a solid 6 months focussed mainly on my stomach and was BARELY able to see an outline of a 6 pack. I gave up and went back to my typical stuff.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

as mentioned many times, you don't need to do thousands of crunches to have a six pack. You have to shed enough bodyfat so it shows up. Genetics do affect the shape of your ab muscles though, and how easily you can keep the fat off.

i agree .. although Genetics is a factor.. it's only about 5% .. 90% is what you put in your mouth.. the rest is exercise..

im almost there.. if i squeeze my stomach muscle.. i can see the outline .. i need to continue reducing my body fat.. and work on the sides of my abs (love handles)..

if anyone is interested in losing body fat quickly.. look up ECA Stack.. 'Volcom' was the one who introduced me to it

i gotta say.. you probably didnt clean your diet up enough. there are some people that need even lower than 10%bf to get abs. it may be a bitch, but if you cut you can get there. the exception is for fat guys, or previously fat guys, the loose skin can sometimes cause issue with abs etc.

im walking around 170s atm, i look athletic but not really abzilla. if i wanted my abs back id plan to cut to 162ish. and funny thing im never as strong, fast or have as good of endurance when I have abs.

Hey Xeb...
I think we all know how a PERFECT 6 pack looks like. And it's quite easy to get one.
