I'm not a fan of people making threads just to express their opinion on a mundane subject.

It's not exactly something we all need to know about is it not?

i say it to ensure my civility right before i insult ppl. :P

its kinda like saying..........no disrespect but youre momma is a water buffalo.

to be honest tho i say it a lot just to be like ... distance. comment. sir confers distance. i use it that way in real life. i called someone sir a couple of weeks ago before i choked him out. i called him sir. he carried on disrespecting me and then he tried to put his hands on me so i ****ed him up.

show them respect and sing a hymn at their funeral...thats how i look at it.

im london irish tho. im mixed up by nature. :P

Its pretty basic American humor. I'll break down the impression its supposed to create:

"Your opinions, sir," Its a title, awe he's giving me a title

"are a large pile of fecal matter" hey that's mean, he's insulting me, that prick!

Overall it means, "hey that prick just gave me a title then insulted me and told me I was undeserving of my title. That son of a bitch!" Its called ironic comedy. Watch our TV shows. Its pretty much all we ever think is funny.
