England surpassed America in Robberies/Burglaries awhile ago. I personally would MUCH rather live here, where we can defend ourselve with a gun, than live there where criminals KNOW you can't own a gun, so they just victimize you.
Sorry, but i'll take our higher murder rate, which is still a low number compared to other crimes that can happen to you.

they are 22 places higher on the rankings table.
the crimes you just mentioned have a marginal difference.
assualts per capita is higher in america.
rapes is higher
usa is #1 on the planet of prisoners per capita. (not a good thing).
and crime reporting is lower.
the thing is you can argue about the validity of any crime statistics because not all crimes are reported. however, if you look at murder thats a pretty good start as it obviously a crime thats harder to hide than most. thats why murders have been recorded since the middle ages in europe.
