Does this generation of teens care about what's legal? If so then the world has certainly changed.

He can show it to my girls and I'll show him the other end of it.

I don't think anyone is insinuating they do, simply something to think about as a consequence. I mean laws have cut down on drinking and driving in teens so it can be somewhat effective.

Well he's not even one yet... so the girls are safe for now xD

I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do. I'll be eligible for social security when my oldest graduates high school.

I really don't want to shoot teenage boys.... at that age I doubt I'll be able to intimidate them until I kill a couple.

My best hope is the early dementia that runs in my family.

Well, I personally prefer the real thing to "sexting" even though I'm a bit removed from my teenage years.

I personally enjoy sending naughty pictures to my husband when he's at work or school or something. Of course, with being pregnant now, I can't really. Used to I would give him an incentive to either hurry the hell or home, or give him something to stay occupied with while I was at work.

I think behavior like that should be fine with teenagers as long as illegal transactions don't happen. People can send fake pictures, send them to the wrong person, or be sending them to someone they don't know.

So it's really a wishy washy issue.

I had 3 videos circulating my friends computers by the time I was 17, and I ended up REALLY messed up lol, so I would think that kids shouldn't do these types of things. However, I would highly doubt that these videos are the reason I am so messed up, so a smarter person would probably think like this:

I don't know how serious of an opinion I could have about this, but I have a vague one nonetheless. I think that the biggest part of the problem is that we involve ourselves at all in these situations as if there is something we can do about them. Trust me, I was there, we can NOT stop kids from wanting to show their ****s, ****s and *****s. It isn't their fault that the upload feature on an iphone 4 is so easy now.

Aside from an initial cautionary message when you give your kid a phone, adults should not be involved in child "sexting" at all. I feel like this type of thing is completely innocent, unavoidable, and only becomes a bad thing once an adult sees the material. (WHICH THEY ALL ARE APPARENTLY LOOKING FOR)

PS. I lost my virginity at age 13, and didn't find out exactly what sex was until I was 15. I would have LOVED to have had a bit of a friggin' study period when I was that age instead of going the dangerous road most do.

Pretty simple solution to this problem, if you dont want your kids being creepy with phones, dont let them have one. I grew up without a cell phone or a computer and yet I still managed to not get kidnapped or raped or murdered or any of that nasty stuff. People these days act like there kids have to have cell phones to function or it will be impossible to keep tabe on them or something stupid like that. People forget that cell phones are still a fairly new technology that people were doing fine without for a very long time. As I said, simple problem, simple fix.

This is true for some kids others not.

I have girls and I would be more than angry if they were convicted of some bullshit like whats going on in some states now.

Point blank the punishment should be up to the parents, there is no justification for making a teen who made a bad choice a criminal.

But then if you think about it we are already being treated as criminals anyway.

Go to Best Buy and your treated like a thief.
Want to take a trip on a plane? Right this way you possible terrorist.

Did you hurt your back? well because your probably a drug addict we'll have to give you five vicodin and you can suffer a little wile you use ibuprofen.

So of coarse kids are being prosecuted as pedophiles IMO its absolutely insane but when has that stopped our government?
