Create a better resume for yourself?

Any tips for things that look good on a resume?

I wish to improve my job oppurtunties, yet I do not have much job experience compared to some of my peers.

Therefore I sometimes have found that I was at a disadvantage.

Some people join a political party or volunteer for different organizations just to to be able to add that experience to their resume.

I realize that it is also a matter of just getting into the sytem and working up the ladder. But sometimes a small edge can make the difference(as in MMA).

Any tips/ advice guys?

Also, if this is a boring thread be happy to neg rep me all you want.

Fun trivia: In danish "kamp" means "match" or "fight". So Martin Kampmann really lives up to his name.

Put anything you have ever done ANYTHING! A lot of times if a company sees that you have some experience in an area they might be willing to spend some time training you if they see promise. Such as work ethic, dedication ect. ect.

sometimes no experience can be a good thing. When I train new people I would rather train a blank slate than somebody with bad habits and there own way of doing shit.

Your def right, but in order to get hired, you basically need a pretty good and relevant resume. A blank board can be very effective.
However, some nice stuff on the resume is a great advantage in order to get in to the system.

Leave your surroundings and go to a Country where the language you would like too learn is the mother tongue. You will probably speak it fluently after 8 months, maybe 1 year (even without a language school) but this depends on you only. Your resume will look so much better if you made it all by yourself in a totally different country, with a language you couldn't speak before.

btw. wich language are you interested in?
