England Riots!

Riots have been breaking out all across England, leading to looting en masse, assaults and homes, livelihoods and businesses burned to the ground.

Scum.

The most sickening video yet, robbing a young Malaysian student that has had his jaw broke and teeth knocked out as he sits bleeding and afraid.

Thanks to Leakler for the sig

Whew I can't imagine. I'd be afraid to steal a coke, I'd have a gun in my face.

IMO they need to declare martial law, bring in the army, anyone on the streets during x-time should be arrested and held etc etc if they don't have enough soldiers/police, deputize civilians and have them led by real soldiers/police.

Yes. They do. Unfortunately our government is more on the side of 'keep quiet and ignore it and hope it goes away'. Pathetic.

I saw the video a few hours ago. Made me feel physically sick.

Apprently riots are starting in Cardiff now as well. If that's confirmed I'll change the title to United Kingdom or Great Britain riots.

WHAT!! No they f*cking don't man. Do you realise what martial law would be like? Its what they implement when they have taken over a country! Army everywhere. Cameras evrywhere. Everyone will have ID badges that will double as credit cards. These cards have chips in them and if you misbehave then they deactivate the chip leaving you with nothing!!!!

F*cking martial law. If you really want to infringe on civil liberties and make the world into a 1984 style world with no freedom what so ever then that's up to you. But dude, that is not a way I want to live. National security will be more important than individual rights. This is exactly what Obama etc are working towards.

say what you will but people have the right to been pissed off at the current government here in the UK, peaceful protest does not achieve sh1t at least these riots are been heard and although they may not chance much they will send a message that people will only be pushed so far before they fight back.

Personally I would celebrate the day the houses of parliament and houses of lords are rushed by a bunch of angry protesters with AK47's and everyone running the country is dragged out into the street and executed by the people for treason.

Amazon UK's riot gear sales soar: Aluminum bats up 6,000%

Quote:

By mid-day Tuesday, the top five sales-rank gainers in Amazon.uk's "sports & leisure" category were all baseball bats and a "military police telescopic tonfa" -- somewhat similar to a nightstick.
Though the tonfa appeared on the list, it seemed that Amazon had removed the item from its site; clicking the item led to an error page. Amazon (AMZN, Fortune 500) did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
One of the top items, an aluminum baseball bat, gained a whopping 6,541% on its "sales rank" over the past 24 hours. Amazon's "movers and shakers" list tracks items that are showing the biggest spike in sales that day.
Amazon's U.S. site, by comparison, had more routine summer items topping its movers list on Tuesday. The U.S. top-five spots in the "sports & outdoors" catagory included an outdoor stove, folding knives, a scooter and tennis balls.
Amazon.uk users added reviews of the aluminum bat and other items on Tuesday, referencing the riots with a dose of black humor.
"This bat is perfectly weighted and will suit any UK shop-owner looking to protect their property," reviewer Harry Fish wrote about the suddenly popular Rucanor bat. "Thanks to the ergonomic handle, one easy swing should be enough to shatter patellas, skulls or any other bone on your targeted looter."
But others who joined the discussion seemed less tongue-and-cheek.
"Ordered 2, one for home & one for the shop," another shopper wrote in reply to Fish's review. "Now lets see the idiots try & loot our shop."
I don't know the details of martial law but, this can't be good.

This. I regret the innocent people getting hurt but if I had half the chance, I'd like to smash up a bank or 2. Maybe a government building or 2. HSBC building and houses of parliament would be a start! Not sure about the executions! I know too well the extent to which these dudes have contributed in corrupting our world but I don't want anyone to die.

The sad truth behind London riot

"LONDON -- As political and social protests grip the Middle East, are growing in Europe and a riot exploded in north London this weekend, here's a sad truth, expressed by a Londoner when asked by a television reporter: Is rioting the correct way to express your discontent?

"Yes," said the young man. "You wouldn't be talking to me now if we didn't riot, would you?"

The TV reporter from Britain's ITV had no response. So the young man pressed his advantage. "Two months ago we marched to Scotland Yard, more than 2,000 of us, all blacks, and it was peaceful and calm and you know what? Not a word in the press. Last night a bit of rioting and looting and look around you."

Animals will find a way to riot, you just gotta give them any reason. They need to let citizens carry guns their. Then that poor kid could have knocked the dome off that robber.
